MERA gets involved in the international software development for telecommunications industry.
1998
MERA starts the development of its own Voice over IP (VoIP) software product line.
2001
The company enters the market with VoIP softswitches and session border controllers, and launches the new direction within the company - information security in IP networks
2003
MERA Systems spins off from MERA group as an international softswitch vendor. The company accomplishes the first 100 deployments on the networks of VoIP wholesale carriers and ITSPs.
2006
MERA Systems gains international recognition with 500 deployments and launches a brand new platform for VoIP wholesale business , MVTS II softswitch, which rapidly becomes the flagship of the company’s product line.
2008
Deployments by Tier2 and 3 carriers , the expansion of global presence and further development of the product line; the launch of MVTS Pro, a carrier-grade class 4 VoIP softswitch.
2010
MERA Systems makes 1,000 deployments in 84 countries worldwide and changes name to ALOE Systems to reposition itself in bigger market segments.
