MERA Systems and AudioCodes Will Conduct a Seminar on Multi-Service Networks in Kiev, Ukraine

Toronto, ON, October 28 – MERA Systems, a key developer of carrier-grade solutions for next generation networks, announces that together with AudioCodes (NasdaqGS: AUDC), a leading provider of Voice over IP technologies and voice network products, it will hold a seminar titled «Multi-service networks based on MERA Systems’ and AudioCodes’ solutions: next generation quality and services» on November 9, 2009, in Kiev, Ukraine. The organizational partner of the event is Mirotel.

During the one-day-long seminar carriers and enterprises will explore new opportunities of multi-service networks enabling high communication quality and intellectual value added services delivery. MERA Systems’ and AudioCodes’ top managers and technical experts will introduce innovative solutions and strategies of IP-based networks development and will discuss general trends and prospects of IP communications market.

MERA Systems’ representatives will dwell on technical and functional capabilities of the multi-purpose platform RTU which underlies the company’s solution portfolio for packet based communication centers’ deployment. Seminar attendees will learn about new opportunities for networks’ upgrade and development on the basis of RTU which ensure investment minimization in the process of gradual migration to All-IP networks. The business models of innovative value added services delivery based on RTU will also be discussed at the seminar.

AudioCodes’ representatives will deliver information about the company’s product roadmap and will present its latest equipment, including multi-service media gateway Mediant 1000 MSBG for service providers and enterprises. AudioCodes will also introduce other in-demand products for carriers, specifically those that can be effectively deployed together with fully compatible MERA Systems’ solutions while building IP-based networks.
