Toronto, ON, December, 8 – MERA Systems launches a pro-active campaign to track down people and companies who sell and use its counterfeit products.
This year MERA Systems, the developer of IP-based software products for telecommunication carriers, identifies the unprecedented growth of companies that use unlicensed versions of MERA products. The company comes up to confront software piracy with a solo aim to ban pirates and protect telecom operators from counterfeiters encouraging customers to use only licensed versions of MERA Systems products.
With a focus on ultra-high quality and technological advantage, MERA Systems holds reliability of products and customer satisfaction the topmost priorities. Since a pirated version of MERA Systems software can guarantee neither top-level fault-tolerance not qualified customer service, its deployment in the operator’s network can seriously damage the business process and lead to revenue losses.
The faulty operation of unlicensed software inevitably injures the reputation of MERA Systems and its certified partners, as well as the goodwill of MERA Systems clientele. Recognizing the international scale of piracy and acting in close coordination with its channel partners, MERA Systems has developed a Pro-active Anti-piracy Campaign to prosecute the users and distributors of unlicensed MERA Systems software.
The action plan of the campaign includes the following measures:
Legal prosecution and criminal proceedings against pirates;
Prosecuting claims for compensation both for pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages including legal expenses;
Suspension of activities for all companies which use pirated versions of MERA Systems products.
These actions can irrevocably harm the reputation of companies that use pirated software.
For extrajudicial dispute resolution, MERA Systems strongly recommends all companies that use unlicensed copies of its software to contact MERA Systems certified regional partners or MERA sales managers.
